If you wear gold, do you only wear real gold, or do you buy costume jewelry which is gold filled. I have both. Due to the cost of real gold items, I rarely buy the real thing. For costume jewelry I like big earrings and bracelets. Usually the real gold items I wear are necklaces, and anklets, because I keep them on for long periods of time, and take them off to clean them. When I get mine custom made I am going to scrape that emblem off, and steal someone's Deville Emblem and super-glue it on lol. | | Which is the Best HypoAllergenic Piercing Material? | | Either for freshly pierced areas or just for super sensitive areas?I've been doing a lot of research on metal allergies and alternatives since I am allergic to: 18K gold, 14K gold, 10K gold, sterling silver (not as badly as gold, but pretty bad still), and surgical steel (the least worst out of these). I have never tried jewelry cheaper than surgical steel, so I'm not sure about other materials.Materials I've heard of for people with allergies, but haven't yet tried:
- Titanium (if you've tried this, let me know what grade worked, they have different grades as those are different alloys)
- Niobium (another type of metal)
- PTFE aka Teflon (not metal)
- Nylon
- GlassWhile glass seems like it would be the ultimate in allergy free earrings, my ears are unfortunately only 16 gauge so I cannot find glass that small. I have however found PTFE in 14 gauge which I ordered in hopes that it will fit into my ears. And I found Nylon and Niobium in standard earring size, which I think is 20 gauge. I don't really want to order anything small since I don't want to have my ears close up. By keeping them at 16G, I'll have more options for earrings I can wear once I can get my ears... | |

1) Deliver them all Badge, in which you have to deliver 30 'unique' items to the ports... a lot of luck here on this one.
2) And the there is the 14K Gold badge.
Last night I finally got the Deliver them all badge when I got the 'uncommon item', Pogo cup.
Pogo has classified their items as common, uncommon, and rare, now on Badge addicts they show only 2 categories, common and rare, and the common and not so common are lumped together. But they base teh badge on getting just 30 items...
I got the Deliver them all badge last night, I feel fortunate becuse there are people that have 3x as much rank as I do and needless to say they don't have it yet......

The bracelet was made by a friend of mine who owns a silver factory.I polished the boulder opals and designed it. It was set in sterling silver and 14K gold, 3 boulder opals, 2 quite big rubies and 1 big swiss topaz and several small peridots. It's a very big bracelet and I do not wear it often, but the few times that i did wear it people kept staring at it, so I guess it makes a statement;) Share your thoughts please | |
