I have seen this movie several times. Since it is my favorite movie. I was just wondering how we would treat a person that could heal like the guy in this movie could heal? When I seen this movie I thought of Jesus Christ when HE was on this earth, is this how HE was treated. Honestly if a person could heal like this wonder how we would treat him. Would we as humans put him to death. I would think who is this person. I would wonder where this person came from. If it was God HE would be able to read my mind and tell me who HE was. The anti christ is coming back first and is going to have wonderful powers. And will amaze some of us. If we don't know that the anti christ is coming first we may be deceived. I wonder why they made a movie like this. I wonder if the writer of this movie was thinking about the LORD when the person wrote this movie. Not sure of what I would do. But know I would surely pray about it. If you knew someone that could heal like this what would you think and do? Would you go up and see if this person could heal your problems?
This was the first Stephen king book i've ever read, and man, was it a good one. I read it last year in high school, the details in that book really are amazing.i could picture everything perfectly, it is such a good book. even the movie is amazing. I would like to know some of your favorite Stephen king books and why?
Can you imagine living for so many years as Tom Hanks character did in this movie? And that poor little mouse. I don't want to live into my 90's so I can't imagine living so long and never knowing when it would end. Life is great and all that, but daggone, how many bills do you want to have to pay in your lifetime and how many heartaches could you stand in one lifetime. I have lost a lot of people in my life and it hurts like you can't beleive. But to out live every single person that I ever loved or cared about? No thank you. John Coffey didn't do his friend any favors when he passed this gift on...... Just a thought.Would any of you want to live that long?
Have you seen the green Mile? It is sooo sad to me? Here I am watching it again. I want to cry and it has not even started yet. So did you like it or not?urely pray about it. If you knew someone that could heal like this what would you think and do? Would you go up and see if this person could heal your problems?
It has happened again! What? One of my comments (originally posted to a discussion about whether capital punishment was right or wrong)http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/618915.aspxhas taken on a life of its own so that I wanted to share it elsewhere. Already, I have turned it into an article at a couple of places...http://www.epinions.com/content_5223719044http://www.writing.com/main/view_item/item_id/1458404with plans to further share it in other places--including right here. Thanks, in advance, for joining this discussion aboutExtending The Use Of Ultimate "Justice"The Bottom Line: If we have to have capital punishment at all, shouldn't it just be reserved for crimes where murder is involved? Doing otherwise might very well create a slippery-slope...The following was my response to a discussion where a young man was saying that the death penalty should not only apply to crimes involving murder but should also be given to habitual criminals...I don't believe in capital punishment period--and I definitely don't believe in it for so-called "habitual" criminals. There are some cases where the person is "habitual"...
Have you read this movie? Did you like it?I am currently reading it and I realy enjoy it. I decided to read it since I loved the movie so much and I am happy I decided to. I usually don't like Stephen Kings work so I don't usually read his books but this one is very good.
Set on death row in a southern prison in 1935, the green mile is the remarkable story of the cell block's head guard, who develops a poignant, unusual relationship with one inmate who possesses a magical gift that is both mysterious and miraculous.
Try to watch this movie. this movie made me cry. i was very attached to the characters in the story. really worth watching for. e death penalty should not only apply to crimes involving murder but should also be given to habitual criminals...I don't believe in capital punishment period--and I definitely don't believe in it for so-called "habitual" criminals. There are some cases where the person is "habitual" because he/she has gotten so used to prison life that it's more comfortable to be there.Take my friend, Russell, for instance. If you would read a story I wrote about him by going here:http://cfetc.blogspot.com/2008/08/iyn-quick-list.html(where you will also get an obvious answer to the question re: whether or not "habitual" criminals can be rehabilitated)you'll learn that he hasn't always been on the right side of the law.Yes, my precious friend, Russell T....
