You can't stop falling in love on this movie. Although it gives me creeps every time I watch this, I still love it because it shows how the power of love can transcend time and even death. The movie was excellently created and though it is purely out of imagination, you won't feel it on the movie. Sandra Bullock was amazing on her acting and so Keanu and the chemistry is really there just like when they have done Speed. The plot is also unique. But somehow in the beginning I was confused by the story because it seemed that the time difference between the girl and the boy was big, but I got it on the ending that they where only a matter of days apart only. You will be very excited as you watch on when the two love birds will eventually be together. Too bad they had only a very short time to let the audience feel how successful their meeting was as it was already the ending.

I've just watched the lake House with Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock for the second time, and it touched me again and drove me to tears. What do you think of it? I know its just a movie, but the whole story line touched me deeply. I would like to hear what other people think about it.
I love those movies, the actors were fantastic and the senarios were totaly different of what we usually watch. Do you have the same opinion? Please can you recommend movies close to the ones I mentioned?
I watched this movie recently but I guess sad to say, I really didn't understand some part of it especially that the man and the woman there wasn't in the same time.They have two years gap.So, I'm confused as to what made them know each other and who owns the lake house?Huh, Keannu Reeves and Sandra Bullock was really a great pair there.Have you seen it?
Haven't yet had a chance to see this because I didn't have time when it came out in the theatres and now it's either buy it on DVD or watch it on HBO, and believe it or not our stupid (!) local cable service provider (Flow) was experiencing technical difficulties just when I wanted to watch The Lake House, so now I don't know when I will ever get to see it...maybe I should just buy the DVD and be done with it! I thought I should see it first, but I usually love all her movies so maybe I should just buy it rather than wait for a chance to see it on cable - especially since it's a chance that might never come!!
For me personally I've seen it probably maybe 30 times, and and that was in about 2 weeks time. What I really loved the very beginning, The song was very beautiful, I can never make you mine. What I couldn't understand after watching it over and over again, lol was why Alex didn't place the book inside the mailbox as she had requested. Anyone have any ideas about that?
