Despite its amicable intentions and its child enticing charm, "the last Mimzy" doubtlessly fails at making a wholly entertaining film. As a rental it may satisfy in a modest manner, for it holds charming attributes. Yet, if you're searching for a child film that holds stellar stuff.. this magic movie will disappoint.

O.M.G I just finished watching this with my daughter and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!! I usually do enjoy movies of this nature (must be the kid in me LOL) but I was a little iffy of this one not sure if I'd like it or not or even if I wanted to see it..Well my daughter did so I got it from Netflix for her and she asked me this morning before school to watch it with her before dinner...We just did and I thought it was FABULOUS (PLUS "Lily" from Crossing Jordan was in it LOL)....
I am so happy to get to watch a movie like this, its fully draw out what a children their curiously thinking, & their Cuties!

I saw The last mimzy today and really enjoyed it. Has anyone read the original story, “Mimsy Were the Borogoves”, by Henry Kuttner? It sounds like it might be somewhat different from the movie. Kuttner died in 1958 but apparently had some science fiction heavy-hitters as fans, like Ray Bradbury and Marion Zimmer Bradley. So, if you've seen it, what did you think of The last mimzy?e story lacks credibility, any humor relief, and fun in the adventure. Also, the soundtrack was wrongly produced. That you like watching movies that are designated for children?Now I DO love watching serious drama type movies, comedies, adventures, romantic types....but I seem to have a leaning toward watching movies that are classified as children types of movies, especially if there is an element of the magical or fantasy element to it. Maybe it had something to do with growing up watching the classic Disney animated movies....Bambi, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, etc.I think I bring this up, as just recently a gave myself a few presents of some DVD movies..my local movie theater sucks as far as showing a lot of popular movies. For instance, now every prior time a Harry Potter movie came out, they DID show it...well when Harry Potter and the Phoenix came out they didn't...grrr..So figured, okay when the DVD movie comes out, even though it will be sight unseen, I'll get it...Needless to say I love ALL the Harry Potter movies and including the last one (Phoenix)--though they, the writers did hack off a lot of stuff that had been in the book that would have been great to see. You might wonder why I had "Guilty! I know who you scammed last summer" title for my first topic here in mylot.Actually, I really do feel guilty because I know someone who's scamming people in America, Canada, Australia, Europe and God knows where else. I'm far away home, I am renting a boarding house and my land lady was the person I know who scammed people through the net. She posts pictures of somebody else in a dating site and wait for someone to respond on it. After someone will respond on her ad, she will the chat to that poor man making him her fiancee. After she gain the person's trus, she will start making up stories in a way the person on the other side of the world will practivley offer to send her money. I really feel guilty because I know this is wrong. The latest fiancee that she have more or less gave her $5000.00 And that a big amount. She was doing this for about 3yrs already but I just discover it. She talked to me asking me to talk to her fiancee and I need to act that I am an agent in the bank and I need to ask money from him. I don't want to fool people for money. She was able to buy a car, gadgets and renovated her house out of that. I don't know what...
The show is finally over. It looked like Van Buren's cancer was in remission so the show ends on good note for the character who lasted 19 yars there. Epatha Merkelson was looking to leave the show but it looks like the show left her. A least it left her with a storyline that made her more than just a background character.
I have been waiting for him since last 7 years for marriage. He was loving person and when he met me he had said that he will take care of me throughout my life. He went to Canada to do his MBA only because I told him to go for higher studies. We had less contact through phone since he used to be very busy. We lost the contact in between and then we got connected through emails again after 2 years. I asked him - did you complete your MBA. He told me the whole drama. His father had a great loss in his business due to which he could not complete his second year of MBA. He also had to take a loan of 50 lakhs Indian rupees and now he is in Dubai working and working to pay the debts.He has clearly told me to go for marriage with another person, however, my heart is refusing it. Even when I had been respected by life with many marriage proposals, I am refusing them all and I do not have courage to say yes to anyone of them.What should I do then?
