Many of us here have endured great wrongs perpetrated against us. Many were abused physically, sexually and emotionally by people that were supposedly trustworthy. How does healing take place; or rather how did healing take place for you? How were you able to forgive?It took years for me to forgive. I was an adult before I finally let the past go so it couldn't stand between me and God. I don't know how it happened but I count it a slow moving miracle. I didn't forgive all at once, but then one day the people that hurt me had no Power of me. I was able to forgive them... I remember praying so many times to be able to forgive, to take the hatred out of my heart... and I guess he did because I don't feel that hatred anymore and I do have love for the memory of them. They have long since passed away, and I was able to forgive them before they died... but I don't really know how it happened. How did I forgive... I guess I chose to... but I can't say for sure... it just seemed to evolve.So how have you been able to forgive if you held unforgiveness in your heart? How did you change your heart about it?

During the corse of my life I've had a lot of hurts and pains, in the past these situations would haunt me for months even years. But as I got older and wiser I found myself getting closer to the Lord in many different ways other than going to church, see I never was a church going person however I am very spiritual in my heart and mind. As the years went by I found my self looking at life through a microscope and finding out that I was not alone in my journey for the truth and that people in general are all afraid of the future and it's unknown reality. Now as I studied the Word and people, I can see the hurt and pain that we have caused our Lord and the many races on earth because of the missunderstandings we have for each other and even for our own desires within. This has lead me to except my life and my world for what it is and that I can't blame God, man or even the Devil for what I've been through know matter how hurtful or painfull it was, I was the one who put my self in most of my drama. How easy, or difficult is it to forgive somebody whom you feel has wronged you? Say a loved one has hurt you in some way, or you have hurt them, and a yelling match follows... things are said that can't be unsaid, and which are cruel and hurtful, on both sides.When somebody we value offends us, it can hurt like a the twist of a knife in our chest or stomach... even moreso if it's somebody we really care deeply about, like a mother or a partner. We're all capable of offending somebody at some point... even those who are closest to us. When we hurt others, or they hurt us, and the matter is left unresolved, it can place a lot of strain on a relationship, even one that we value highly.Obviously, the best way to resolve the hurt is to sit down and talk with your loved one; exchanging feelings, and giving or accepting an apology for the weakness.Do you find it difficult to admit your wrongs and apologise, or do you just go silent? I am not religious, I just try to live my life by being a good person. I don't like it when people try to force their beliefs on me, because i try not force mine upon them. I think it's ok for us to disagree. We live in a free country and i think we should all be allowed to believe whatever law abiding thing we want to believe in. recently i have known about granola software from my friends and for past 2 weeks i ve been usind this software. my question is:is it really reducing power consumed by computer.. if it is how can i find out?
According to an estimate, more than 1% of world`s total power consumption is attributed to standby power... and believe me that is huge. According to 2008` s statistics to total power consumption, if we calculate, then, it amounts to releasing 10^9 kilograms of greenhouse gases released in the atmosphere in a year. This is based on the stat that around 86% of world`s power is generated using fossil fuels like coal.So, if you leave your mobile phone connected after full charging, or switch of your television by remote rather than disconnecting, or let your computer sleep for hours rather than shutting it down etc. then you are one of the culprits of releasing tons of tons of tons of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere every year.
